JOIN SCT
To book a place for you, your child/young person, please either email us at stretfordchildrenstheatre@gmail.com with their name, age, and school year plus your name or the name of their parent or carer (if applicable).
Alternatively, you can complete the form below. Once we receive your enquiry, we will reply by email to confirm their start date and which day/session they will attend and confirm costs.
COST OF SESSIONS
Our monthly subscriptions are £15 per child per month via direct debit; plus, an annual membership fee of £5 (paid annually every September, or upon joining and then every September).
We have a sibling rate of £8 per month per month via direct debit for any siblings who also attend; plus, the £5 annual membership fee.
For our adult classes, our monthly subscriptions are £25 per month, plus an annual membership fee of £5.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a ‘weekly pay-as-you-go’ arrangement as we have to plan class sizes to ensure we can cover our costs.
We try to keep our classes as affordable as possible so that they are accessible to all.
We do have a financial support policy as part of our Financial Policy. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are struggling with the costs, and we can work out the best way of supporting you.
JOIN OUR BOARD
We are generally on the lookout for new Board members to become Trustees of our small charity.
Our Board currently comprises individuals with skills and experience in theatre (producing, engagement, production/technical, working with young people), event and project management, finance, law, and academia.
If you have relevant skills and/or experience and time to offer, we'd love to hear from you.

VOLUNTEER
We are always looking for volunteers to help us support the facilitators in sessions, or to help us front of house during the sessions.
Sometimes we also need volunteers to support productions and events, either front of house, backstage or helping with refreshments.
VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
If you are a young person (14+) interested in theatre and performance, we have several volunteering opportunities with Stretford Children’s Theatre:
Supporting the facilitators deliver the weekly sessions;
-
We’re hoping to develop a young person’s advisory board who help inform our future planning and support our formal Board. Our aim is that this includes several young people who have been members/alumni of Stretford Children’s Theatre;
-
We’re also developing a ‘placement package’ for local schools/sixth-form colleges for young adults (16 years +) that would run over 2 half-terms and include: attending board meetings, supporting our communications, fundraising research, supporting delivery of the sessions. It would give a broad overview of the charity’s operations and management. For more information please click here
If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please get in touch via stretfordchildrenstheatre@gmail.com explaining which area you are interested in.
